Employees, officers and directors of Internet.Frontier (“Sponsor”), their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies, web masters and web suppliers and persons engaged in the development of Contest materials (collectively, the “Promotional Entities”), and members of the immediate family (parents, siblings, children and spouse, wherever they reside) or household (whether or not related) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited.
Contest begins on March 30, 2020 at 6 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on May 10, 2020 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).
Late submissions will not be accepted.
HOW TO ENTER:
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Enter online by visiting the website at Internet.Frontier.com/gateway/tech-savvy-mothers-day-contest/ (the “Website”), filling in the applicable online entry form with your name and e-mail address, uploading your video, reading and agreeing to these Official Rules, and clicking on the “Submit” button to submit your entry into the Contest during the Contest Period. Videos should not exceed 2 minutes in length and should be submitted in MPEG, WMV, H264, MP4, MP3, AVI, MOV or WMA format.
Limit one entry per person/e-mail address during the entire Contest Period. You must pick either the most tech-savvy group or the least tech-savvy group, and may not enter into both. If multiple siblings collaborate to create an entry video, one sibling should be designated as the entrant, providing contact information. Additional entries from the same person/e-mail address and additional submissions of the same video by other siblings will be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Incomplete or garbled entries will be disqualified. If you enter using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.
Videos may not prominently display trademarks or copyrighted works of third parties. Do not incorporate music into your video. Videos violating this provision may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Videos do not have to have been taken during the Contest Period.
By submitting a video entry, you affirm and represent that you recorded the video, or have permission from the person who took the video to submit the video in a contest entry. You affirm and represent that no elements of the video violate a third party’s copyright or trademark rights and the content does not violate any law. The video should not depict any individuals who have not granted permission to be featured. By submitting a video entry into the Contest, you hereby grant to Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license in and to the video and description in the entry, so that Sponsor has the right to use, not use, display, post, publish, copy, edit, and create derivative works from the video and description submitted in the entry in any and all media, worldwide, without limitation or further obligation to you or any other party. By submitting a video entry in the Contest, you confirm and represent that your submission does not violate the intellectual property rights or other rights of any other person or entity. Obviously non-responsive videos will be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion. No professional videography or editing allowed. Videos containing or depicting nudity, violence, discrimination, or other content deemed inconsistent with the FRONTIER® brand, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified. Sponsor may select entry videos to post on the Website or on its social media pages both during and after the Contest. By submitting an entry into the Contest, you specifically agree to such posting.
SELECTION AND CONFIRMATION OF WINNERS:
A panel of 5 judges from Sponsor will judge all eligible video entries received during the Contest Period and will select two (2) winners (1 most tech-savvy and 1 least tech-savvy) based on originality and creativity demonstrated in storytelling, the presentation of the video, and compliance with the rules as demonstrated in the entry video. This is a contest of skill. Your odds of winning depend on how your entry video compares to the others received during the Contest Period in light of the judging criteria.
All entries will be judged and then the entrants associated with the potential winning videos will be notified via e-mail at the e-mail address provided in the entry on or before May 18, 2020. Both potential winning entrants must sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (where legal) and must also provide a mailing address for their mothers for use in shipping the prize within seven days following receipt in order to claim prize. The mothers of the winning entrants must also sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release within the timeframe requested by Sponsor before the prizes will be shipped. If a potential winning entrant or mother does not return the required documentation on a timely basis, or if any notification e-mail is returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in full compliance with these Official Rules, or if a potential winner or mother declines the prize for any reason, then that potential winner will be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited. If forfeiture occurs during the process of confirming winners and awarding prizes, then Sponsor will notify the entrant of the video with the next highest score in the applicable category according to the judging criteria as an alternate winner in order to award the prize. If Sponsor is unable to confirm winners for both prizes after five attempts, Sponsor may allow any unclaimed prizes to remain unawarded. Prizes will be shipped to the mailing address provided for the mother of each winning entrant within four to eight weeks following receipt of the signed release from each mother. Returned prizes will not be awarded.
The most tech-savvy mother will win a $500 Amazon gift card and the least tech-savvy mother will win a 10-inch Apple iPad, 32 GB Wi-Fi and cellular, approximate retail value $460. Total value of all prizes is $960. No substitutions of prize except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. No cash in lieu of prize. Prize is not transferable prior to award. Amazon gift cards are subject to all terms and conditions generally applicable thereto. Winner of the Apple iPad is solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with maintenance and use of the prize, including but not limited to the costs of any cases, accessories, applications, maintenance, data plans and other costs. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or iPads. Winners are responsible for any applicable local, state and federal taxes associated with the prize.
